What Characters Do You Want in SSBB? (Official Topic)

This is simple enough. Post your own list of characters that you would like to see in SSBB.

Among those confirmed, I want at least 2 FE characters, no Mario clone, at least 4 playable pokemon. Other than that, I don't know what.

I wanted to make this bloody topic. I was going to spend alot more thought and make the topic less crappy.


Limiting myself to an amount of 40 characters, here's a list.

1. Mario
2. Luigi

3. Wario - Already Confirmed

4. Bowser
5. Peach
6. Yoshi
7. Donkey Kong

8. Diddy Kong - A long time character in the Donkey Kong franchise. Diddy was DK's first sidekick, and has been in many games with DK throughout the years. He's also very well known, and has plenty moveset potential.

9. Captain Falcon

10. Samurai Goroh - Falcon's first ever rival, he was in the first F-zero games, and is still in current ones, and despite other characters being more powerful, he is the most deserving.

11. Fox
12. Falco

13. Krystal - Meh, I don't know why, but I added her, she is a female representitive, and played somewhat good roles in the two recent Starfox games. I don't know about her addition in Command, but she is deserving nonetheless. She also has a staff, and focusing on that as well as some psychic abillities, it would be easy to come out with a moveset, that is original.

14. Kirby

15. Meta-Knight - Already Confirmed

16. (Zero Suit) Samus - Already Confirmed

17. Ridley - Samus' long time villian/boss. Ridley, just like my other additions, "it's" Samus' main antagonist, is simply an awesome dragon, and is the best of the few choices for an Metroid addition.

18. Ice Climbers

19. Pit - Already Comfirmed

20. Captain Olimar - The main character of the Pikmin series. The series has sold greatly over the years it has been released, and has won awards for its awesomeness. Olimar's moveset will be completely different from anything else with the addition of Pikmin, as well make it for a unique playing style, whatever that may be.

21 & 22. Zelda / Sheik
23. Link
24. Young Link
25. Ganondorf

26. Skull Kid (w/ Majora's Mask) - WIIIIII. A deserving choice of the few other possible additions to the game.

27. Pikachu
28. Pichu
29. Jigglypuff
30. Mewtwo

31. Deoxys - A 3rd generation Pokemon, a legendary one (if that counts as a reason). Deoxys has a high potential for a moveset, and can be unique with his four transformations that he has. He will represent the 3rd generation, and he looks awesome :P.

32. Rukario - A fourth generation Pokemon, he already has a highly popular reputation in Japan, and will represent the fourth generation if added. He is also a fighting type, and that would somewhat help with a moveset I suppose.

33. Mr. Game & Watch
34. Marth

35. Arya - A female from arguably the best Fire Emblem (FE4), and would help the female representation in the game if anything. I srsly got nothing much else.

36. Hector - From FE7, and he was the only, ONLY character in the entire game, that you could not play. However, you were able to see him fight, in these beautiful cinimatics, and his battleaxe would help, in one way or the other, with a moveset for him. As they are handeld differently than swords. He has a great past in war, and was highly emphasized as a powerful character. Being able to play him here, would be great IMO. :P

37. Issac - A representitive from the Golden Sun series, and is the main character of both games, more or less. The series was somewhat popular, and he has little earth magic, that would make his moveset easier to differ from others. I don't know much else about the series.

38. Snake - Already Confirmed

39. Sonic - Sega's represenitive, Sega has a great history with Nintendo in the recent years. Working with Nintendo's franchise's, such as F-Zero. Their games from the Dreamcast and others are to be downloadable on Nintendo's Virtual Console service, and who can't remember those little kids on the playground, saying who would win? In a Sonic VS Mario fight.

40. Megaman - Capcom's representitive, Capcom, like Sega, has a great history with Nintendo, including with the years back in the NES. Megaman was born on the NES, and his games continued to appear on Nintendo's console to this day. Capcom has also worked with Nintendo's franchises, creating the Oracle series in the Legend of Zelda, among other projects. Thats all I got.

I would add other characters, such as King Dedede, King K. Rool, Vaati, and others who do not come to mind right now, if it weren't myself limiting to 40 characters.

Anyway, thats my list.

I would of course want Lip. Diddy+Dixie combo would not be shabby either. A much more not-likely character that I would want is Fighter Kirby. I've already made huge posts justifying these so I won't get back into it in detail.

Anyone remember the thread that said what characters Sakurai was considering? I know it was incredibly bendable (It had the HAMMER bros...) and Kalas was in the list.
